Primary Function of
the United States Government
Government In forming the constitution
of the United States, the founding fathers believed that the original
and only proper purpose of our government is to protect the rights
of human kind, which means: to protect him or her from physical
violence. A proper government is only a policeman, acting
as an agent of a person's self-defense, and as such may only resort
to force only against those who start the use
of force.
Participles- A nation
thrives or declines, one child at a time. Many recognized psychologists
have stated 9 out of 10 Americans are a product of dysfunctional
childhoods. These psychologists also say 6 out of 10 Americans
have been sexually abusive sometime in their childhoods. The
government states 45% of inner city public high school graduates
cannot read. In the US, the average time a murderer spends in
prison is eight years. Only 3% of burglary theft crimes are
ever solved, meaning you have a 97% chance of getting away with
it. Most street or beat cops are politically conservative.
It is a government statute which states that driving a car is
a privilege not a necessity. The average person spends
an hour and a half per day driving a car. The government collective
provides income to more people than does all other sources combined.
78 cents out of every dollar finds its way back to government in
the form of taxation. The more something is subsidized, the
more of it we get. The more something is taxed, the less of it
we get. People of significant wealth do not pay taxes. The
tax burden falls onto the most common denominator. The laws of
our land are statutory in nature which makes them fluctuating opinions.
It is common knowledge that government has enacted many highly partisan
laws (opinions). Government being the biggest attracts the biggest.
The goal of a corporation is profitability; the means is growth;
the end is to be a monopoly. It is a common belief that government
is highly inefficient. It is a common misconception that government
is stupid, that it mistakenly "screws up whatever it touches.."
The political process is perceived by most as being "dirty."
Depending upon the election day, the most citizenry that may vote
is about 50%. People are policy. Power corrupts. Humans
are fallible. Guarantees are only as good as the people who
back them up. Our founding fathers were predominantly Christian
(Episcopalian.) Per capita, more people are now involved in
various Christian religious philosophies. Very few people understand
and practice the
[1]religion
they embrace. An aspect of human kind is a dislike for change.
It is known that those who tell a good story are honored over those
who do a good job. Our society is so very complex, yet television
leads us to think otherwise. There are 600 available receivable
government regulated video media broadcast channels. The average
gross revenue of a network video channel can be from 10,000 to $1,000,000
a minute. The primary preoccupation of the media is market shares,
the second one is their license. The average person spends an
average of three to seven hours a day watching TV. Television
has been proven to be both seductive and addictive. Television
is attuned to the mentality of an eleven to thirteen year old child
(the lowest common denominator). The mainstream media portrays
human kind as being matter in motion brought about by pure chance.
The media describes our constitutional liberties and freedoms as
being an experiment. Most intellectuals believe that
the United States has a limited life. Fledgling Socialism makes
the lowest and least common denominator the highest priority.
Per capita, there are more homeless now than there were in 1950.
All communist states disallow all religions except Atheism.
People who have attained wealth now want power over others.
It is known that victims of corruption embrace it hoping to
eventually be the corruptor. Kings are not governed by laws.
Feudalism is the original form of government. When a king dies,
so does “his” government. With the successor, a new government
replaces it. Since the beginning of human history, no governmental
structure has ever survived. Though it may be the desire of
many in power, global domination has yet to be achieved. The
range and degree of the US government has grown exponentially since
1900 with most of its growth occurring since 1980. All things
have a relationship. All actions have a consequence. According
to various new age theologies, people being tortured in gulags should
just learn to be happy. People think that solving problems within
government will solve
[2]problems in their own lives. And, they are right.
Theorem The closer to the speed of
light one travels, the less the laws of physics apply. Corollary:
The closer to absolute wealth one gets, the less the laws of the
land apply.
Postulate The purpose or goal of
any government as seen by that government is the totality of control
through a centralized authoritarian dictatorship.
Elucidation The key component of
any government is people, human beings with the same human fragilities
as anyone of us. Government positions by their very nature are
fettered with illogic, pressure, exposure, extraordinary stress,
legislated and court mandated immorality. Though, these people
have as a tenuous core occupation, control over others granted to
them out of ignorance, the elected officials themselves are,
by necessity, heavily and narcissistically centered on themselves.
US Government The problem with our
government is its omni-present force governed by very bright people
who've gravitated towards these positions of power who are without
morality and are with the constant pressure of the office they hold.
It has been proven that these people have as their basis, the need
for superiority, monetary wealth, and control, all hidden behind
a need to be close to godliness in appearance. It is
widely accepted fact that these public positions spawn in the holders
of these offices, narcissism, dishonesty, and lust?
Is it not government who has through its statutes,
openly decreed that there can be no morality governing the need
for truth and morality?
Organization Like any major corporate
concern such as Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble, or General Motors,
the government, being a collective of people, has an understandable
human need to grow and prosper.
The problem with government is that they have
no competition and they are the makers of the rules.
So by definition, if the stated goal of government
is to govern: rule, preside over, oversee, administer, direct, run,
manage, dictate, command, control, dominate, and make laws, by the
two parameters of growth and control, what is to prevent
government from working towards a goal of ultimate human domination?
Isn't it far easier for the party to govern
if the governing party is in complete control?
Altruism It is still widely held
belief that people in the service of government, are moral altruists
who have the best interests of their constituency in mind.
But, history and the nature of human kind bears a totally different
story. To explain:
The basic premise of altruism is
human kind has no right to exist for his/her own sake, that service
to others is the only justification for his/her existence, and that
self-sacrifice is his/her highest moral duty, virtue, and value.
It is this naivety that confuses altruism with
kindness, good will, or respect for others. These are not
principal attributes but consequences, which in fact, altruism makes
impossible. The primary definition of altruism or the basic
foundation is self-sacrifice that in human psychological
terms means self-immolation, self-abnegation, self-denial, and ultimately
self-destruction which in the end means the self as a standard
of evil and the selfless as a standard of the
good.
A truly objective prospective rejects altruism:
the belief that the most noble of actions are those that benefit
others by means of sacrificing one's own values.
Isn't it clear that no one has any moral claim
to one's time or one's money simply because they might need it?
After all, it is only through our willing charitable acts
that they may get it.
In so far as the religious aspects of human
kind, it is the belief of theologians that this altruistic sacrifice
of one's self is in the service of, for, and to God. But isn't
it a government directive which states that government does not
have God?
Morality The government appointed
Supreme Court has mandated that there can be no God or morality:
"There is no right or wrong, just opinion." In passing judgment,
it is a judge's opening statement, "It is the opinion of this court…"
which is said before he/she renders a verdict.
Is it not under these current statues
that the court mandates new law based on the religion of Atheism
and many partisan reinterpretations of a constitution that was originally
based on Christianity?
So, without morality and with hollow
promises and an easily persuadable democratic non-cerebral
impulsive voting public, what is to keep this republic (depicted
democracy) from eventually finding itself a totalitarian state?
It has been proclaimed that average humans
are incapable of making the right decisions. So then, how
could the US as a "Democracy" work?
Isn't it true that it was the republic which
abolished the widely accepted practice of slavery?
In order to have Individual rights for all,
isn't it a necessity for a society to have moral law?
Constitutional Scope The original
intent of the founding fathers was for freedom and justice for all,
and the pursuit of happiness. The very basis of our constitution
was freedom from government domination; ascendancy being the norm
in all other countries. It was at the start of the 1880s after
the beginning of the industrial revolution that the scope of government
left its original intent and expanded towards what is known as a
social consciousness or social justice, which are communistic or
socialistic ideals.
If the model of prior governments was totalitarian
dictatorships, then how could one think that a centralized dictatorship
would be anything different?
Collectivism The basis of socialism
is providing for those least fortunate simply because others of
greater fortune do not. It is the Robin Hood ethic of taking
from those who have and giving to those who don't. But, for
socialism to work, all must participate. Like our government,
those who are recognized members of the socialist party are exempt
from having to participate or are granted a greater degree of privileges.
Common Good It is believed that as
a whole, human kind is not capable of compassion, caring, and providing
for others less fortunate and, therefore, it is the role of government
to do this.
Yet, if the government is made up of people,
aren’t these the same non-compassionate people who will, in the
end, not do this? Is it not from this pool of human kind that
government draws its people?
Grapefruits Are To Oranges As Autos Are
To Nam The Vietnam War lasted from 1964 to 1972, 8 years
and claimed slightly over 50,000 American lives. It has been
said that the action in Vietnam was a war that nearly tore this
country apart.
If we look at the fatalities in Vietnam in
a different light, then starting with 1964, an average of 50,000
people were killed each year in automobile accidents on American
soil. If during the war 400,000 Americans lost their lives
on the roads and highways, then why are we not as concerned about
these people as we are about the 6250 solders that died each year
of the Vietnam War?
Traffic crashes are the greatest single cause
of death for every age from six through 33. Almost half of these
fatalities are in alcohol-related crashes.
[3]Alcohol
involvement remains the leading factor in motor vehicle deaths.
Though only 7 percent of all crashes involve alcohol use, nearly
39 percent of fatal crashes do. Approximately 18% of all drivers
involved in fatal crashes were intoxicated at the time of their
crash
[4]It is estimated
that 2.6 million drunk driving crashes each year victimize 4 million
innocent people who are injured or have their vehicles damaged.
SO, how come we still scream with anger about
Vietnam, all the while we are laughing with, praising, coddling,
honoring, and even marrying the intoxicated alcoholic?!
The characteristically dysfunctional idealistic
response to this question is: the draftees in Vietnam did not have
a choice whether to go and fight, but we do have a choice to not
drive or be a passenger in a car.
Morale It is often times portrayed
by the media that the rights of the accused tower over the rights
of their victims. Many melodramatic courtroom TV shows like
Law & Order and The Practice portray the legal system as being judicially
overly sensitive to the rights of the accused.
After a steady diet of TV, people lock themselves
in their homes feeling powerless to do anything about the perceived
dangers that lurk outside.
In 1950, only banks and jewelry stores had
burglar alarms, now it is a common fixture in the modern day household.
There are those cerebral thinkers who state:
the ownership of anything is a restrictive to one's freedom, that
one could lose it all, that we should learn to lead more simple
lives. Aren’t they attempting to diminish a person's
right to ownership? Aren't they even diminishing the
value of people's hard work?
Paraphernalia The media's stance
on gun control is: on the one hand, the graphical and dramatic presentation
of guns being used by all (good and evil) to kill other humans.
Yet, on the other hand, its news agencies constantly proselytize
the need for "gun control."
Since the 1960s our society has steadily grown
to accept the corruption associated with drugs in the streets and
schools. Most who are charged with these crimes under the
legal system are convicted. But, the penalties are lenient.
Redefining The Language It is a little
known fact that there has been a slow subtle systematic redefinition
of our language making certain words evil and some words good.
The term "politically correct" is one of many terms that have been
used to shape the way Americans are to think and speak.
When someone says righteousness, how do you
feel?
In an 1800s dictionary, the word means:
1. Purity of heart and rectitude of life; conformity
of heart and life to the divine law. Righteousness, as used in Scripture
and theology, in which it is chiefly used, is nearly equivalent
to holiness, comprehending holy principles and affections of heart,
and conformity of life to the divine law. It includes all
we call justice, honesty and virtue, with holy affections; in short,
it is true religion. 2. Justice; equity between man and
man. 3. The cause of our justification.
In a 1990s Dictionary the word has come to
mean: 1: acting in accord with divine or moral law: free from
guilt or sin 2 a: morally right or justifiable <a righteous
decision> b: arising from an outraged sense of justice or
morality <righteous indignation> 3: slang: GENUINE,
GOOD
Politics: In an 1800s dictionary:
The science of government; that part of ethics which
consists in the regulation and government of a nation or state,
for the preservation of its safety, peace and prosperity; comprehending
the defense of its existence and rights against foreign control
or conquest, the augmentation of its strength and resources, and
the protection of its citizens in their rights, with the preservation
and improvement of their morals. Politics, as
a science or an art, is a subject of vast extent and importance.
In a 1990s Dictionary: 1 a :
the art or science of government b : the art or science
concerned with guiding or influencing governmental policy c
: the art or science concerned with winning and holding control
over a government 2 : political actions, practices,
or policies 3 a : political affairs or business;
especially : competition between competing interest
groups or individuals for power and leadership (as in a government)
b : political life especially as a principal activity
or profession c : political activities characterized
by artful and often dishonest practices 4
: the political opinions or sympathies of a person
5 a : the total complex of relations between people living
in society b : relations or conduct in a particular
area of experience especially as seen or dealt with from a political
point of view <office politics>
The modern day 1990s thesaurus definitions
of: Conservative: traditional, conventional, conformist,
unadventurous, old-fashioned, narrow-minded. Liberal:
avant-garde, open-minded, broadminded, moderate, noninterventionist,
freethinking, tolerant.
Are there not thousands of words we have grown
up with that are now evil and evil words that are now good?
Bad: God, Negro, Mankind, man, husband… Good: abortion, white
& black, rights, worldly…
Propagandizing It appears to many
that the government has, at their beckon call, a willing, seemingly
one-opinion, mega media. It is a definite fact that government
does exercise total control over all of the education of our children.
It has been said by social science scalars
that our media cultivated culture is a seemingly ignorant, skittish,
paranoid, frightened, knee-jerk, reactive, public who are apathetically
watching this thing called TV.
Haven't you heard of the apathy of the
voting public, consumers, and other labels that not only
attempt to define us, but also strive to confine us?
Fallacy? Is a god defined, not a god
confined? If God exists, how can any human define God?
Light of the Land It is widely accepted
that this TV media itself is a group of paroxysmal, openly dishonest,
overzealous, frightened set of organizations who have as its owners,
people whom themselves openly state their desire for a dictatorial
form of leadership.
Who is Media Mogul Ted Turner… and Jane Fonda?
Was it not Jane Fonda who openly consorted with the enemy during
the Vietnam War by aiding them in creating propaganda against the
US? Was she ever punished for this treasonous act?
Since these media organizations have an extreme
fear of the loss of their livelihoods, doesn't it seem feasible
that they would be willing to sell their very souls to anyone in
exchange for the further propagandizing of people? After
all, isn't the government the one who provides the real-estate rights
and the laws that govern the media's medium of broadcasting?
Question, why is our TV so very violent?
How come we can see tens of thousands of people being graphically
beaten or killed, but we cannot see anyone in the act of conceiving
a new human being?
National Schools Since the 1900s when John Dewey proposed
in New York that education be
[5]provided and
mandated by the state, this education system has deliberately fallen
short of providing or teaching a clear understanding of this country
and its political workings to its students, hence us.
How many people know
how candidates are selected
to run for office? How many Americans even know how people
are elected to office?
Side note. It is very common knowledge
that in 1899, 98% of Americans could read; now only about 68% of
American born people can read proficiently. Isn't it, the
predominant public education system, which has declined in its ability
to teach? Intelligence Since the government
is the biggest, richest, largest, and most powerful organization,
it attracts the best and brightest minds. But, since it espouses
through its various statutes, immorality, won’t the minds it attracts
be the same?
With all of these very bright minds in positions
of managing the government, doesn't it seem that the reported history
of this very highly intellectual body of people called government
bare a very inaccurate account of its competency?
Deception Through government controlled
education and the media, we are taught that government is plagued
with mistakes, mismanagement, and ineptitude. But it is in
the next breath that we are told that government knows best, will
provide all, and in essence, is our God.
Most of us see government through the seduction
of the ubiquitous media. Don't we gullibly allow them to lure
us with their beautified utopian presentations into believing that
this media is totally without fault and is always correct?
Aren’t we willing to accept what they say as gospel?
Oprah According to various
providers of workers compensation insurance, many people who are
out of work for long periods of time develop what has come to be
known as the “Oprah Syndrome”. They lose touch with reality
by spending their days watching TV. According to these insurers,
it appears that the majority can never again be integrated back
into the work force.
Dirty Politics Since various incidents
including the demoralizing broadcasts of the hearings of McCarthy,
Supreme Court Justices Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas, the testimony
of Anita Hill, the resignation of Richard Nixon, and the impeachment
of Bill Clinton, the citizenry views anything having to do with
politics as contracting a deadly disease such as AIDS.
How often have we slammed the door in the face
of a politician who is attempting to garner our vote?
Is it not this same public who wants government
to fix and provide? Is it not this same public that has no
idea how the political system works in this country?
Simply put, People are policy.
To get one’s policies into law, one needs their people in these
positions of policy making.
It has been said that people feel powerless
to change anything including issues on a local level. Yet,
if people could understand the never changed electoral-nominating
system, then more of us could determine the outcome of what happens
to our tax dollars.
Goals: With these tools and techniques,
it would seem that government could further their goals of growth
and domination. The evidence of this is all too clear.
Don't we see it every day, government enacting
new laws to protect us from each other?
Public At Large: Isn't it the public,
soaking in their hot tubs of apathy, who become very angry when
someone throws in a bucket of ice water by pointing this stuff out.
So, how do you feel so far about my words?
Collective Evil Wherever one looks
into the realm of human organization, collective accountability
seems to bring a lowering of moral standards. People have
been known to do things together that not one of them would think
of doing alone. What happened in Germany? What happened
at
[6]My Lai?
Saving Grace It must
be understood that, like anyone, government fears the loss of control.
When it cannot manage, the faith of it citizenry diminish and the
system stops working. When its citizenry becomes significantly
disillusioned, it faces strife, lawlessness, anarchy, rioting, and
revolution.
Conspiracy Theory In the US, the
idea of a centralized government conspiracy is currently not a practical
one in that the current government is still not a unified party
or leadership collective. Though, the goals of each group
within government are very similar (a concept called confluence)
our government is still made up of several factional ideologies
and methodologies, including the private sector which, often times,
clashes with socialistic canons. But, for the sake of order,
they must hold themselves in check. Within this balance of
power, there is also a considerable hatred between these groups
and each is eager to point out the other's faults and shortcomings.
Ends and Means Regardless of how
intelligent these people are who run government, they cannot even
come close to predicting the outcome of events.
The reason they appear to be inept is that
they attempt to micro-manage the populous while not having the best
interests of all concerned. Coupled with the fact that there
is no longer a consensus of what morality is (right or wrong), it
creates a picture of ineptitude.
Don't we all know that the politician's primary
occupation and goal is themselves and being elected?
The Earth First Crowd When the founding
fathers wrote the constitution, they had no idea that human kind
could possibly obliterate a species much less cause the earth to
become uninhabitable by a man made device such as an atomic bomb
or even the car. It is the right of property ownership
colliding with the ever-increasing scarcity of natural habitat that
has led to the extinction of many species of animals.
So, when does the loss of various species really start to affect
human kind?
Is the New Earth religion an overly reactionary
response or are we really doing irreparable harm to the world.
Isn't it true that we have so much waste that it takes a significant
amount of land and energy to get rid of it? Can we as people
do something about it or does it take the force of the republic
to fix things? How many of us are willing to give up driving?
How many of us are even willing to cut back on our driving?
It has been said that gasoline consumption
has steadily increased and that the average person spends at least
an hour and a half a day in his or her car. According to the
National Highway Safety Administration, the average car in the US
is driven an average of 25,000 miles a year. If the average
speed that a car is driven is 45 miles an hour, the average car
has a driver behind the wheel an average of 556 hours a year, or
1.5 hours a day. If the average car gets an average of 19
miles per gallon, then the average car burns an average of 1316
gallons of gasoline per year or 3.6 gallons per day.
How can we redesign our lives to drive less?
Why are we so stupid as to spend so much of our valuable time driving
a car. Is it that we don't value our time?
Big Brother: Few of us are still
around who went through the depression of the 1930s when so many
people lost so much including their dignity. The country went
through a loss of integrity when its citizenry lost trust in its
monetary banking system.
Though many might argue that the formation
of a central bank led to the destabilization of the currency hence
the Depression, it was still the fear of the masses that lead to
Black Tuesday.
Was it not the supposed mismanagement of the
money supply that lead to one of the biggest growth spurts of government?
Is government the generator of economic growth? No, working
people are.
Medicine The cost of medical care
is the most expensive per hour service that we as common Americans
have to pay for.
The modern day version of health care coverage
is modeled after socialized medicine.
Next to the legal system, the fastest growing
part of our economy is health care.
The Economy It has been said that
this terror we've constructed called the monetary infrastructure,
is so fragile that it takes an army of people to carefully prod
and poke it to keep it in line. Yet, things can go so very
wrong, and the most likely to be affected is the most common denominator,
us.
Today, when men gather scheming in smoke filled
rooms, (OPEC) we all end up paying more for gasoline to get us around
in our cars all the while demanding that government do something
about it.
It is when the prices for a critical part of
our economy increase that the economy is eventually and seriously
affected.
It is also us who are 90 days from bankruptcy
who constantly fear the loss of our livelihoods, all the while demanding
more out of life. (As seen on TV)
How many of us are totally out of debt?
How long could we survive if we lost our jobs?
What people don't realize is that these and
other demands are easily heard in Washington, and the government
in its effort to further its goals, are willing to give us the appearance
that they are complying.
Get Involved, Be Dirty The political
process is in reality your neighbors voicing their opinions at the
bottom level. You to can take part in this and find it both
rewarding as well as fun. The
electoral-nominating process
is simply people being nominated to office via this system.
A Higher Power: History has shown
that without a higher incorruptible authority like God, the supposed
balance of power and remaining morality within government will eventually
break down. Then, as in Germany, a strong but evil body can
then take charge and, as in the past, this power base will become
very bold and highly corrupt.
This centralized authoritarian dictatorship
will also be constantly faced with the possibility of revolution
and terrorism, which is in essence, the same things that brought
them to power. Like every fascist régime that has ever existed,
they will then be motivated to beat the people into submission.
The oppressed governed peoples will then be forever lost until some
of them discover a new God and sacrifice their lives telling others
about this deity.
Righteousness: To avoid this inevitable
outcome, we simply must be open to and understand that human kind
cannot keep reinventing the wheel (constantly make new laws and
forming new ideologies). We must understand and accept that
there is some kind of righteous law, and that there are time-tested
truths. We must acknowledge that humans are easily fallible
and that, regardless of whether they are priests or presidents,
turning our lives and our will over to another human is tantamount
to contributing to lawlessness.
Is it the government's or private industry's
fault that we have child abuse, a high murder rate, guns, a gaggle
of self-help groups, a wide spread acceptance of revamped eastern
religions philosophies, TV evangelists, more Christian churches
per capita than ever before, and a plethora of communist ideologies
in this the freest republic in the world?
Freedom, Liberty and Responsibility
For us to understand and keep our freedom, we must understand
that we are still free beings who must take responsibility for our
own actions, hence ourselves and our lives.
With these liberties, with moderation, and
without harm to each other, we must know that there are so very
many things to design, to make, to make better, to solve, to do,
to see, to have, and to enjoy in life. This requires us to
broaden our minds, vision, and horizons.
This will be the personification of
us free humans ascertaining the reasons for our existence.
With our minds open and fed, we will then have the desire for, caring,
conservation, preservation, kindness and charity, and far less need
for government… and TV.
For if we don't, there are millions of crazies
in the world who are very willing to convince us that they will
do it for us…for a price that we will ultimately not be able to
pay.
Is it true that humans want a god, regardless
if it is God or government? (China, no God all government)
Government? So, next time the government
does something that sounds… well does anything, ask yourself, what
is the primary goal of government?
And while thinking about this, remember these
time-tested truths: nothing is for free; in a godless world
there is no such thing as benevolence; and, if human
kind cannot define who he/she is, then we will be lost wondering
in the wilderness, constantly finding and redefining ourselves rather
than growing upon what already is…
